Sonny Halbawy - Founder and President
An entrepreneur who has operated multi-million-dollar businesses ranging from custom door manufacturing to commercial print shops, Sonny Halbawy has operated as a commercial and luxury home builder for the past 20 years, developing and renovating luxury homes, mixed-use commercial buildings, and restaurants.
With more than 20 years of residential and commercial real estate sales experience, he has been mentored by some of the top 1% industry leaders nationally and is the owner of US Builders Team.
In addition, Sonny is the founder and CEO of Convert Clean, a natural gas company that builds Natural Gas Infrastructures; and is certified to convert vehicles from gasoline to compressed natural gas and Propane, the only CNG company in WA state. This technology allows cars to run on dual fuel. He also helped build Natural Gas Stations, as part of that technology.
Sonny is a strong negotiator who focuses on and understands the needs of his clients. A certified short sale specialist, he holds extensive knowledge of real estate law and has a reputation for his high standards, integrity, and uncompromising values in everything he does. Sonny earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, and is fluent in English, Arabic, French, and Spanish.
In his spare time, Sonny is a passionate martial artist, having won many heavyweight titles. For the past 20 years, he has been an instructor of Kung Fu, enabling people of all ages to develop strength & patience.
Sonny holds a commercial Pilot License and is a proud member of the Boeing Employees Flying Association. Sonny has been recognized by the Boeing Flying Association (BEFA) and awarded recognition for his work on the Renton Municipal Airport.
Micheal (Rusty) Jones - Senior Project Manager
With over 35 years of construction experience, Michael (Rusty) knows how to effectively work with project coordinators, managers, surveyors, vendors, designers, clients and tradesmen to successfully complete various projects. His expertise also includes working on larger building improvements, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
While working at Harborview Medical Center for over 10 years, Michael designed various ergonomic work spaces for medical staff throughout the hospital. One of his accomplishments was the design, construction, implementation, organization, and flow of the MAGIC commode and stretcher cleaning machine as well as other peripheral DME (durable medical equipment) storage and transportation equipment (patent pending). Michael has spearheaded multiple noise initiative prototypes and their implementations throughout his construction career in healthcare.
During his time of 25 years working on the custom high end residential housing market, Michael gained a wealth of knowledge and superb problem solving skills in some of the finest homes in the pacific northwest.
Michael’s many years of experience as well as his on-the-fly engineering abilities, have a direct collaboration with his strong organizational skills making him our preferred superintendent to work your project.
Mohammad Ali Halbawy
Since a young age, Mohammad excelled in math and engineering, in his senior Elementary, he took first in the entire Seattle District on his Science Project Judged by NASA and Boeing Engineers at the Boeing Flight Museum and was voted as the Engineer of the year. In College he was part of DECA program and won many Marketing awards. Mohammad Ali shadowed his father Sonny since a young age and learned construction starting by using a hammer and by keeping job sites clean and safe, an essential part of the team collaborating on over a dozen projects in and around the Seattle, Washington area. Working with his father, Sonny, this father-son duo have collaborated on over a dozen projects in and around the Seattle, Washington area.
Chien (Laser) Mao - Superintendent
With over 20 years of civil/hydraulic/Rail engineer work experience and 4 years for Lab experience, Chien (Laser) knows how to effectively work with project coordinators, managers, scheduling, planning, surveyors, vendors, designers, and clients to successfully complete various projects. His expertise also includes working on larger DOE projects in Maui and Urban Core/Military base in Hawaii as Supervisor/Senior Project Engineer for large Construction company. Rail Engineer for Taiwan High Speed Railway Construction (Taiwan, ROC/Japan). He is long on effort and enthusiasm, outgoing, friendly individual who would enjoy building strong creativity and technological skills. Most importantly, he has very strong mathematic skills and bilingual of Chinese mandarin.
He received his Bachelors Degree of Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering from the National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan, R.O.C. as well as his Master Degree of Civil Engineering from the National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan, R.O.C.
